Linda L. Kincaid 68, lifelong resident of Franklin, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Davenport, Florida.

She was born Feb. 13, 1947, in Franklin to Maurice and Thelma (Wagerman) Peavler. She married Arthur N. “Art” Kincaid on May 9, 1964, on Water Street in Franklin, and he survives.

She was a loving homemaker. She attended Franklin High School and enjoyed playing bingo, karaoke, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her loving husband, Arthur N. “Art” Kincaid of Franklin; son, Kevin N. Kincaid (Natasha Ham) of Franklin; a daughter, Kristina J. Hancock (Rick L.) of Edinburgh; five grandchildren, Dustin Kincaid (Cassie) of Franklin, Megan Butler (Scott) of Greenwood, Ren Hancock of Edinburgh, Andy Kincaid of Greenwood and Alexis Kincaid of Whiteland; three stepgrandchildren Alick Ham, Cascha Ham and Araiyah Ham all of Oklahoma; six great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; one sister, Daisy Jordan of Indianapolis; and her pets, Tessy and Molly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two half-sisters, Rose McGlocklin and Barbara Williams.

A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
