M. Norene Grever, 79, of Fort Wayne passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015. She was born on April 8, 1935 in Storm Lake, Iowa to the late Albert and Florence (Gerdes) Schramm. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a Registered Nursing degree. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of First Assembly of God. She was involved in nursing home piano ministry and enjoyed being an accompanist to many vocalists but especially for her grandchildren. Surviving family include her husband, Lloyd Grever; daughters, Pam (Bruce) Gould of Nashville, IN, Linda Grever of Fort Wayne, Rita (Max) Brand of Swanton, OH; sons, Tom (Jodi) Grever of Cameron, MO, and Tim Grever of West Lafayette, IN; grandchildren, James, Andrew, Luke, Ruthie, Jakob, Naomi, Nicole; great granddaughter, Scarlett; and her brother, Merlyn Schramm of Atlantic, IA. A funeral service will be 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at First Assembly of God, 1400 West Washington Blvd., Fort Wayne with calling 30 minutes prior. Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God.
