Bonnie McLaughlin, 62, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2006, in Fort Worth. Services will be noon Thursday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Bonnie was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Benjamin Franklin Sr. and Elsie (German) Pickens, and loved to travel, play bingo, restore dolls and paint pictures. She also loved to cook, tend to her yard and her pets. Bonnie attended Burleson Church of the Nazarene for the last two years and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Survivors include her loving husband of five years, Cecil McLaughlin; her sons: Jeffrey "Jeff" Boyd Stanford, Jimmy Dale Stanford and his wife, Jamie, and Shawn Douglas Gary and his wife, Jonica; grandchildren, Christopher and Lauren Stanford, Monique and Ashleigh Gary; sisters, Doris and Patsy; brothers, Buck and Van Alford; and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins.
