She married Jesse P. Dow in Windsor. He died in 1986.
Mrs. Dow was a past member and past President of the World War Mothers, a 46 year member of the Ascutney Chapter #2 Order of Eastern Star, and the former Baptist Church in Windsor. She volunteered at the Red Cross blood drawings in Windsor.
Survivors included her daughter-in-law, Beverly M. Dow; two sisters, Gladys Blow and Marion Currier, and a special niece, Joyce Dow.
She was predeceased by one daughter, Nellie A. Rice in 1974; one son, Alan P. Dow in 1990; and by three sisters, Anna Chase, Florence Carr and Ruth McKay.
