Edna Keener, Rt. 1, Pattonville, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 4:22 p.m. at her home.
Services were held Friday, Feb. 15, in the Pattonville Baptist Church with the Rev. L.C. Stout and the Rev. Kenneth Short officiating. Burial was in Meadowbrook Cemetery by Grant Funeral Home.
Mrs. Keener was born Aug. 17, 1916, in Clardy, the daughter of Albert and Sattie [sic] Stone Stansell.
On Dec. 3, 1938, she married Raymond Clinton Keener. He died July 14, 1967.
She had been a member of the Bethel Baptist Church at Clardy since 1923. She was employed by Munsingwear for 26 years.
Surviving are two sons, Lynn David Keener of Andrews and Mickey Ray Keener of Longview; one daughter, Mrs. Yvonne Wilkins of Brandon, MO; two brothers, Ralph Stansell of Mount Pleasant and Melvin Stansell of Sumner; three sisters, Mrs. Claudie (Lois) Dudley of Deport, Wilma Stansell of Paris and Mrs. Buck (Robbie Nell) Slaton of Halesboro; five grandchildren.
