his daughter, Barbara Carlson Tunks of Peoria;
his son, Larry Carlson of Villa Rica, Georgia;
six grandchildren, Dawn, Rose, Linda, Daron, Karen, and Laura;
three great grandchildren, Jessica, Tyshell, and Kevin;
a brother, Jacob E. Carlson of Minot, North Dakota;
a sister, Vesta L. Edmonds, of Powell, Wyoming;
several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, newborn daughter Margaret (1929), brother Otto Carlson (1965), and son-in-law Richard Tunks (1983).
Services were at 1p.m. Saturday, April 5 at Fred C. Olson Mortuary, Ltd. 1001 Second Avenue Rockford, Illinois, with the Reverend R. Haines Moffat, associate pastor of Second Congregational Church officiating. Burial was in Willwood Burial Park. Friends called at the mortuary from noon to 1p.m. Saturday.
