OGDEN - Our dear mother and grandmother returned home to her Heavenly Father and the loving arms of her sweetheart after serving a long and wonderful life on this earth. Frances Irene Woodbury Luddington, 91, passed away on March 4, 2015. She was born on October 12, 1923 in Ogden, Utah, to Leighton LeRoy and Elida Agnes Martin Woodbury. Frances was raised in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High Class of 41.

She married Harold Farley Luddington on February 12, 1943, in Ogden and they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 21, 1944. Harold passed away on November 27, 2003 after 60 wonderful years of marriage.

Frances was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed serving with her husband as Stake Dance Directors and as Temple Ordinance Workers. Frances also served faithfully in a Relief Society Presidency and several other callings.

Frances and Harold enjoyed traveling the country in their camper together always looking for a golf course. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Northern Utah Ladies State Team. She also enjoyed bowling and skiing.

Frances is survived by her sons, David and Mark (Jeanne); daughters, LeeAnne (Mike) Daz and Mary (Don) Simpson; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brother, Harry Earl (Marilyn) Woodbury. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Jack; parents, three sisters, Lola, Helen, and Dorothy; and four brothers, Ted, Martin, Perry, and Bob.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
