Teresa was born March 10, 1955 in Moses Lake, WA to Sherman and Lillis Draney. She was raised and educated in Warden, WA. After high school graduation, she attended Big Bend Community College.
She married Craig James Hamilton on December 20, 1975 at the Presbyterian Church in Moses Lake, where she continued to make her home. On March 19, 1981, their son, Derek James Hamilton was born.
Teresa recently retired from banking after 26 years. She enjoyed the daily relationships she had with bank clients, and the many co-workers who felt more like family to her.
Survivors include her son Derek of Moses Lake; sisters Donna (John) Timm; Patricia (David) Birkett; Kriss (Shawn) Shuler; brother James (Dori) Crouch; father & mother-in-law, James and Barbara Hamilton; brother-in-law, Mike (Krista) Hamilton; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Craig and her parents Sherman and Lillis Draney.
A celebration of Teresa's life was held July 2, 2014 at the Moses Lake Presbyterian Church. Interment in Guarding Angels Cemetery, Moses Lake. Arrangements with Kayser's Chapel.
