John R. Wyles, Sr. 88, went peacefully to walk with the Lord in Paradise at 12:14 A.M., April 1, 2015, surrounded by his loving family at his home. He was born on December 19, 1926, a son of the late Howard and Ella (Ritchey) Wyles. He is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years Beverly (Putt) Wyles and the following family, his children; Stephanie married to Kenny Thomas, John Wyles, Jr. married to Michelle, Nathan Wyles married to Sherilee, Jonathan Wyles married to Ardoth and Jeremy Wyles married to Angie. A brother and sister: Kenneth Wyles married to Nancy and Lillian Kelly. Grandchildren: Dulce Dick, Stacey Shaw, Missy (Wyles) Nestor and Michael Wyles. Kimberly Havermale, Elizabeth and Joshua Wyles. Great Grandchildren: Alexis Reighard, Issac and Ella Grace Dick, Ethan and Brandon Nestor, Zach Shaw and Abbey Havermale.

He was preceded in death by His first wife of 27 years, Deloris (Kelly) Wyles, a daughter: Gretchen Perrin, granddaughter Kelly Perrin and siblings: James, Elmira and Esther.

Mr. Wyles attended the Living Hope Grace Brethren Church, Saxton.

John worked for Penelec for twenty-five years before retiring, and then become an entrepreneur of several small businesses in the Saxton area. His favorite being the sporting goods store.

He was a loving father. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, riding his four wheeler around his “hill”. He enjoyed helping others and was a very devout Christian. He will be forever missed

Friends may call on Friday, April 3, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. at the Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton and on Saturday, April 4, 2015 12:00 Noon until the hour of service at funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Akers Funeral Chapel with Pastor William Hall officiating.
