He was preceded in death by His first wife of 27 years, Deloris (Kelly) Wyles, a daughter: Gretchen Perrin, granddaughter Kelly Perrin and siblings: James, Elmira and Esther.
Mr. Wyles attended the Living Hope Grace Brethren Church, Saxton.
John worked for Penelec for twenty-five years before retiring, and then become an entrepreneur of several small businesses in the Saxton area. His favorite being the sporting goods store.
He was a loving father. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, riding his four wheeler around his “hill”. He enjoyed helping others and was a very devout Christian. He will be forever missed
Friends may call on Friday, April 3, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. at the Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton and on Saturday, April 4, 2015 12:00 Noon until the hour of service at funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Akers Funeral Chapel with Pastor William Hall officiating.
