ARMSTRONG, Mrs. Nina Hattie was born on November 6, 1931, one of ten children to the late Jesse Mae Besley and Roosevelt Spencer in Lynch Kentucky and she passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Greene Oaks, Xenia, Ohio.

Nina worked at Van-Dyne Crotty before retiring to be a homemaker. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and fishing with her late husband of over 44 years Arzeal.

Also preceding her in death was her daughter, Anna Lucinda Johnson, and great- grandson Brandon Taylor Spencer; (3) brothers, Roosevelt Spencer Jr. (Mary), Samuel Curtis Spencer (Ethel), Eddie Joe Spencer (Edna); (2) sisters, Harvey Lee Horsely and Evelyn Dean. She leaves to cherish in her memories; her son- in- law, James Johnson (Fairborn OH), (3) grandchildren; Lawrence V. Spencer (Atlanta, GA), Saitip Johnson (West Palm Beach, FL), and Sonyah N. Spencer (Charlotte, NC); one great grandchild, Breon J. Spencer; (2) sisters; Mary Lewis (Akron, OH), Beulah Dunson; (2) brothers, Olan (Pat) Spencer and Bennie Spencer, all of Dayton, Ohio; and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral Service 1:00p.m., Thursday, April 9, 2015 with Rev. Ronald Bailey Sr., officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment: West Memory Gardens.
