Theresa Aarstad, age 87, Green Bay, formerly of Mattoon, died August 10, 1963 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Green Bay.
She was born January 19, 1876 in Wurtenberg, Germany, the daughter of the late Jacob Buchuster.
In September, 1902 Theresa was united in marriage to John Aarstad. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1960.
Survivors include one son, Theodore Aarstad, St. Paul Park, MN; three daughters, Celia (Fred) Hager, Minneapolis, Aleen Nagel, Green Bay and Marie (Rudolph) Miller, Mattoon; 13 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held August 13, 1963 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Mattoon. The Rev. Bernard Geimer officiated. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
