William Albrecht, 66, Staunton, a former resident of Worden for many years, died Sunday at 11 a.m. at St. Francis hospital in Litchfield, following an illness of several months.
An employee of a Livingston mine before his illness, Albrecht had been a miner all his life.
He is survived by his wife, the former Julia Heinemeier; three sons, Earl, Carl and Robert, all of Staunton; two daughters, Mrs. Neoma Deming, Worden, and Mrs. Helen Camp, Bonnie, Ill.; two brothers, Henry of Worden and Jesse of Redmond, Calif., and one sister, Mrs. Brittie Young, Boone, Ia.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Albrecht, Worden, preceded him in death as did one daughter and three sons, including Pfc. David Albrecht, who lost his life in the armed services in New Guinea during World War II.
