Mrs. Nancy May, 74, a resident of Trenton MO. Died Tuesday morning March 31, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph.

The body was cremated under the direction of Slater Funeral Home, Trenton. . Family visitation will be held at Slater Funeral Home on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Private inurnment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers family suggests memorials to either North 65 Center or Humphreys Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home.

Mrs. May, was born September 28, 1940 in Cora/Winigan, MO, area the daughter of Elba and Fay Oma Straley Linhart. She attended Milan Schools and graduated from Humphreys High School. She had worked at Gables, Branding Iron, and Main Stop all of Trenton.

She was a member of Humphreys Christian Church in Humphreys, MO.

On June 26, 1957 she was married to J. C. May at Humphreys. He preceded her death on Feb. 14, 1987.

Her survivors include two daughters DeAnn McClaskey and husband Steve of Trenton, MO., Deidra May-Johnson and husband Jeff of Milan, MO. Two sons Steve May and wife Kathy of Jamesport, MO. and Montie May of Trenton, MO., One sister Mary Riddle of Lakewood, Colorado and one brother Lawrence Linhart of La Plata, MO. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Elba Linhart, her mother Fay Linhart, five brothers Marion Linhart, Delmas Linhart, Dane Linhart, Donald Linhart, and Nelson Linhart.
