Daughter of Claude Henry Sater and Thelma Mae Rogers. Married Walter Lee Wann 11 Mar 1950 Raton, Colfax, New Mexico. They are the parents to Walter Lee Wann Jr. 1950 – 2006, James Dean Wann and Claudia Renee Wann.

Dolores was cremated and her husband has the ashes, when Walt dies is when the two of them will be buried in Nebraska Veterans Cemetery in Alliance, Butte Box, Nebraska..

Dolores M. Wann, 87, of Kimball, died at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Kimball Baptist Fellowship Church, 507 S. Oak Street in Kimball with Pastors Dennis Payton and Dallas Powell officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Friends may stop at the funeral home on Friday, April 10, 2015 to sign the register book and leave condolences for the family. Dolores Mae Wann was born in Trinidad, Colorado on January 18, 1928, the daughter of Claude and Thelma (Rogers) Sater. Her family moved to a ranch near Woodland Park, Colorado when she was a year old. She was raised and attended school in Woodland Park through the 10th grade. Her family moved to Ramah, Colorado and she graduated from the Ramah High School in 1945. Dolores then attended Blair Business College in Colorado Springs, graduating with a degree in Office Management/Stenography. She worked in Colorado Springs and Denver for the Internal Revenue Service. Dolores was married to Walter Wann in Raton, New Mexico on March 11, 1950. They lived in Limon and Ft. Morgan, Colorado until moving to Kimball in 1955. She was active in the Kimball Southern Baptist Church and was instrumental in getting the church started in Kimball.

Survivors include her husband Walt Wann of Kimball, NE; son Jim Wann of Henderson, CO; daughter Renee (Jim) Buskirk of Hemingford, NE; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father Herbert Starr; son, Walter Wann, Jr. and one brother and one sister.
