Benjamin F. Carll Jr., 57, died Friday May 26, 2006 at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.
He was born on April 26, 1949 in Waltham, Mass., the son Benjamin F. Carrll Sr., and Ruth Hurt Carll.
He worked in maintenance at KDH, and belonged to the Emergency Disaster Relief Organization with the Salvation Army. On Oct. 13, 1996, he married Dianna L. Pflaumer.
Preceding him in death was his mother who died in 1988.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Sara A. Soto, Hanover, and Lisa M. Combs, Carrollton, Ky.; his father and stepmother, Iona Miguel Carll; four brothers, Frederick Fred Carll, Oregon; Andy Carll Sr.,, Clarksville, Tenn.; John Carll, Illinois; and Thomas Carll Sr., Greenup, Ill.; his father-in-law and mother-in law, Jerry and Sharon Pflaumer, Madison; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday May 28, 2006 at the Vail-Holt Funeral Home with burial to follow at Vernon Cemetery in Vernon. Friends and family may call from 4-8 p.m.. today or after noon Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
