The Reverend John Jones and his wife Sarah emmigrated to Massachusetts aboard the Defence, the same year that Peter Bulkley arrived in Ma, 1635. Reverend Jones became the first minister of the Parish of Concord and Reverend Peter Buckley became its teacher.
Rev. Jones's daughter, Sarah, married Thomas Bulkley, son of Peter Bulkley, in 1640 in Concord, Ma. He died 1658. Sarah then married Anthony Wilson ca 1659 at Fairfield, Connecticut. He died 1662. Sources: New England Marriages Prior to 1700; also Buckeley Genealogy (see attached).
