Mr. Butler was born Jan. 18, 1988, in Smith County. He was a graduate of St. Louis public schools, was a lifelong resident of Smith County and was a member of Browning Memorial IME Church.
Preceding him in death was his father, Johnny B. Butler Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Alice Butler, Tyler; two brothers, Brandon McKenney (Jennifer), Dallas and Johnny Butler Jr., Tyler; and two sisters, Alicia McKenney, Tyler, and LaShunda Dotrey, Longview.
