Ken is survived by his w/o 66 years, Hazel Hess. He was a millwright retired from the Union Carbide Tech Center, South Charleston, WV with 30 years of service. He was a U S Army World War II veteran with the 95th Infantry Division, "The Iron Men of Metz," where he earned three Bronze Stars, and the French Legion D'Honneur, the highest decoration awarded by France for the liberation of France and Europe. He was a carpenter who enjoyed building swings, rockers, bird houses and other items.
