Thornton Allen, the little 18-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Allen, of East 32nd Street, died Saturday night after an illness of a few hours, the child being taken with spams and dying in a short time.
The neighborhood was very much attached to the child and his illness and sudden death was a shock to all. The child was especially pretty and attractive. The funeral service was conducted yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the residence, Rev. Mr. West officiating. The interment was in Elmwood.
