DELORES ANN BREWER, daughter of Glen E. and Mary A. (Wampler) Thompson, was born on June 2, 1939, in Chillicothe, Missouri and passed away on December 27, 2005, in Springfield. On October 27, 1967, she was united in marriage with Richard Brewer and to this union three children were born, all surviving. For thirty-five years, Delores worked as a registered nurse for Cox Hospitals. After retirement, Delores enjoyed being a grandmother and spending time with her family and friends. She was a believer in the Baptist faith. Delores is survived by her husband, Richard, of the home; one son, John Brewer, of Ozark; two daughters, Elizabeth Brewer, of Strafford and Melinda Paulsell, of Ozark; four brothers, Delbert, Alvin, Robert and Delford Thompson; one sister, Mary Bonderer and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Ralph, Donald and Raymond. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 30, 2005, in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 P.M., Thursday, at Thieme-Shadel Funeral Service at Rivermonte.
