Joy Turner Fullmer, devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on March 30, 2015 at the age of ninety-six.

Joy was born March 2, 1919 in Murray to Joseph Edward Turner and Annie Maud Clark

Married to Jay Howard Fullmer on June 28, 1940.

Active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she held many callings.

Lifelong member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Joy spent untold hours doing genealogy research.

Mom was very proud of her children and grandchildren; they were HER LIFE. She would say she was staying alive to be with her children and grandchildren.

Mom developed an early love of the Savior and His Gospel and was able to pass that love and testimony of the Savior and the Gospel on to her family.

Survived by sister, Marge Larson; children, Jerry Fullmer (Ann), Jan Fullmer (Liz Pestrella), Jeanne Reitz (Robert), and John Fullmer (Karen); twenty grandchildren; fifty-eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, all but one sibling, husband, daughter, Judy Allen; grandson, Brett Reitz; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Winchester Ward Chapel, 6300 South 700 West, Murray. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Sunday, April 5, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville, and one hour before the services at the church on Monday.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
