BRIGHAM CITY-- Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Dian Dalton Drewes, 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in Brigham City, Utah.

She was born on May 8, 1931 in Brigham City, Utah a daughter of Alexander Perry and Martha Woodland Dalton. Dian graduated from Box Elder High School in 1949. She married her high school sweetheart, Vernon Harold Drewes on June 8, 1949 in the Logan LDS Temple. Dian was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Dian and Vernon were the original owners of Drewes Floral and Gift. She loved horse riding, raising dogs, gardening, playing the piano and organ. She liked traveling with her husband in their motor home with the Good Sams.

Surviving is her husband, four children, six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter and one on the way in September. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 3:15 p.m. at Brigham City Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City.
