N. Archie Haley Sr.

N. Archie Haley Sr., 77, of 130 Broad St., Phillipsburg, died yesterday in Allentown Hospital. He was married to the former Mamie Fehnel.

He was a 50-year employe of the Lehigh and Hudson River Railroad, retiring 11 years ago.

Born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., he was a son of the late George and Ellen (Archibald) Haley. He was a member of the Pilgrim Presbyterian Church, Phillipsburg, N.J.

Surviving besides his widow are a son N. Archie Jr. of Dela ware Heights, Phillipsburg; daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Zeng uhs of Phillipsburg; a step daughter, Mrs. Norma Blach of Lakewood, Calif.; two brothers, William of Cape Coral, Fla., and George of Phillipsburg; two grandchildren, and three greatgrandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Fri day in the Rupell Funeral Home, 465 Memorial Parkway, Phillipsburg. Viewing will be to morrow night.

Haley and Eleanor Helen "Ela" Archibald Haley and was born February 19, 1893 in Poughkeepsie, New York. Archie had 3 siblings: Beatrice Haley Dormblaser Lockett, George Albert Haley, and William J. Haley.

He married Mamie C. Fennel, and she died the same year as Archie.

He is buried next to his beloved Mamie and her brother Charles.
