PFC Infantry World War II

Son of James V Padley and Gertrude (Baker) Padley. James, who resided on Darley Road, Claymont DE, served as a Private First Class with Company A, 116th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Division, US Army during World War II. He was "Killed in Action" near Vineville France during the war. He had served in the Army for one year and three months at the time of his death.
