Sherri Ann Smith, 71, of Richmond, MO died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO.

Sherri was born on March 13, 1944 in Richmond, MO to James and Maude (Beasley) Bray. She married Larry Smith of Richmond on March 23, 1959. He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include; two daughters and sons-in-law, Troy and Jon Krepps of Wellington, MO and Shelley and Donnie Miller of Phoenix, AZ; 8 grandchildren, Kendal Krepps, Danielle Krepps, Larry Smith III, Patrick Smith, Jacob Smith, Derek Miller, Travis Miller and Morgan Miller; and 17 great-grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her parents, Sherri was preceded in death by one son, Larry Smith, II, one daughter, Virginia Ann Smith, who died in infancy, two brothers, Freddie Bray, James Bray and her step-father, Alvin Carmichael, who raised her.

Sherri was a homemaker. She was a member of the Richmond First Baptist Church. Sherri lived in Richmond all of her life. Sherri was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who called her Mi Mi. She loved working in the yard and watching her birds at the feeder. Sherri loved going to the "Boat" every Saturday and hit her last, big jackpot on March 21, 2015.

Memorial graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
