Henderson, TN: Bonnie Jean Martin Blevins age 69 passed away April 1, 2015 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born February 28, 1946 in Union, West Virginia and also reared there (Monroe County) the daughter of the late Harley R. Martin and Betty Jean Shue Hellems. She went to school in Monroe County West Virginia area. She was married to Mason Blevins of West Virginia in 1965 and they lived in Maryland for eight years and then moved back to West Virginia until 1990 when they moved to Henderson. Bonnie worked in the clothing industry as a seamstress. She loved sewing and making clothes for the family and loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Rainey of Jacks Creek and Beverly Gee of Henderson; five grandchildren, Cody Hairrell, Ashley Bullman, Dillion Hairrell, Kayla Hairrell and Joshua Bullman and two great grandchildren, Dominic Hairrell and Ameila Bullman; seven brothers, Bill Martin, Jim Martin, Gary Martin, Steve Martin, Rex Martin, John Martin and Johnny Hellems, Jr. and five sisters, Betty McClung, Joan Ramsey, Jerri Phillips, Barbara Martin and Joyce Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mason Blevins in 2014.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Clarence Thomas officiating and burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Casey chapel 5 PM until 8 PM on Friday.
