She is not listed, however only those born before June 1, 1850 were to be listed. On March 13,1855 her mother, Mildred Carpenter remarried William Jeptha Crowder in Lawrence County, Tennessee. On the 1860 Lawrence County, Tennessee census Sarah, age 12 born Kentucky is with the Jephtha Crowder family. She could have been born in 1852, not 1850 as her death certificate indicates.

Sarah and Leonard became the parents of Joseph Amory, Leonora Eugenia, Leonard Oscar, Mary Della, Lula W, Benjamin Ethbert, Zena Vivian, Eula Mildred, Vergia Leola, and one unknown. The known children are found in Texas by 1910 with the exception of Lula, age 3 months on the 1880 census. No further record of her. Benjamin Ethbert lived in Oklahoma in 1942. On the 1900 census Sarah is the mother of 10, 8 living.

Sarah died Dec 12, 1931 in Cleburne, Johnson, Texas. Her death certificate states she is buried in Cleburne Cemetery. No record of Wuhrman burials were found in Cleburne.
