Pvt. Ray Sutter, 19, one of nine sons and daughters of Mrs. Zora Sutter, of Rossiter, was killed in Action in Italy the day before Christmas. His mother was notified yesterday by the War Department.
The young soldier's father, Lynn Sutter, died several years ago.
Pvt. Sutter leaves his mother and the following brothers and sisters: Alvis, of the U.S. Army, Charles, Mrs. Tomas Lunger, and Mrs. Eugene Neal of Rossiter; Mrs. Clay Kanouff of Juneau and Fannie, Bernice and Marvin at home
