Matthew Brady Strickland II, 44 of Elizabethtown dies Wednesday April 1, 2015 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was a native of Hardin County and was a team leader at UPS in Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by his brother Jason Howell, and Grandfathers Werner (Curley) Medley, and Oscar (Strick) Strickland. Survivor's include, his mother and father Betty K. Fred Howell of Elizabethtown, father and stepmother Matthew and Debby Strickland of Eddyville, Grandmothers Dorothy Medley of Loretto, Bernadette Strickland of Eddyville, Step-Brothers Brian Druen (Sissy) of Elizabethtown, Steve Druen (Kim) of Elizabethtown and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral will be Tuesday April 7, at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Elizabethtown. Burial will follow at Glendale Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3-8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A prayer vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home.
