  Victor A. Blume of near Worden died at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis hospital in Litchfield from a lingering illness. He was employed at the Beall Tool foundry in Alton.
  He was born Dec. 3, 1908, on the farm where he resided until his death and had attained the age of 41 years, four months and two days. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis H. Blume. He married Miss Dorothy Kinniken in 1936, who survives.
  Also surviving are two children, Bruce Alan and Vicki Doretta; his step-mother, Mrs. Anna Blume of near Edwardsville; two sisters, Mrs. Estella Schrecker of Worden and Mrs. Viola Hemme of Lodi, Calif.; and four brothers, Charles A. Blume of Boston, Mass., Louis W. and Otto of Worden and William of Staunton.
  He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical church at Staunton.
  Friends may call at the Worden funeral home after 2 o'clock Friday until Sunday at 12 o'clock noon when the body will be taken to St. Paul's Evangelical church to lie in state until 2 o'clock when services will be held with the Rev. A.J. Habermehl officiating.
  Interment will be in Worden City cemetery.
