THREE RIVERS – Larry Elzie Teague, 67, of Three Rivers died on March 31, 2015. He was born in Simmons, TX on Dec. 13, 1947 to L Z and Lula (Chaney) Teague. He had worked for U.S Steel (23 yrs.), H&W in Three Rivers and retired from Bay in 2014. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, outdoor cooking and loved visiting with people.
He married Patsy Mach on Nov. 28, 1969, who preceded him in death on Sept. 28, 2005. He married Jolynn Long on March 21, 2009 in Three Rivers, Tx.
He was also preceded in death by his father and sister-in-law, Mildred (Teague) Lamperchat.
He is survived by his wife Jolynn L. Teague of Three Rivers, Tx; one daughter, Lori Teague (Chip) Kasper of Three Rivers, Tx; one son, Shane (Kim) Teague of Orange Grove, Tx; mother, Lula C. Teague of Three Rivers; two grandchildren, Kylee and Kyle Teague; two step-daughters, Jessica (Shawn) Thornton and Elizabeth (Wesley) Brosig both of Three Rivers, Tx; five step-grandchildren, Kirsten, Tiffani, Landon, Justyn and Peyton Thornton; three sisters, Gloria Janssen of Runge, Tx, Evelyn Work of George West, Tx and Roxanne (Carl) Williams of Three Rivers, Tx; two brothers, Gerald (Jo Ann) Teague of Kennedy, Tx and Rockey (Norma) Teague of Three Rivers, Tx. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Thursday, Apr. 2, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel in Beeville, Tx. Funeral services will be at 10am on Friday, Apr. 3, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Three Rivers, Tx. with Pastors Norm Sulaica, Jr. and Darby Salge officiating. Interment will follow at Simmons Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Mark Mach, Lance Bridges, Tracey Schendel, Troy Esparza, Cody Dailey, Bill Mooney, Shawn Thornton and Wesley Brosig. Honorary pallbearers are Charlie Johnston, Harold McCullough, Carl Williams, Donald Kasper and Scott Carroll.
