Lizella, Georgia- Doyce H. Johnson, 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, April 1, 2015.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Quinn Hammock officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, 31201, or the Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, 31088.
Mrs. Johnson was born on September 15, 1939 in Dublin, Georgia to the late Harvey and Zinnie Lee Bussell and was preceded in death by her husband, Artis Johnson; sons, Billy Johnson, Benny Johnson and Kenny Johnson; and sisters, Joyce Warnock and Lynn Johnson . She was a beautician and a member of Bethel Church in Lizella, Georgia. Her family was her whole life.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Crystal Thomas, Allen Ray Sams, and Jarrett Lee Johnson; nieces, Donna Haggard, Denise Bedgood, Debra Bethel, Robyn Mathis, and Dawn Chandler; nephews, Randall Warnock, David Warnock, and Robert Johnson; and special friends, Steve and Melanie Yarbrough.
Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery have charge of the arrangements.
