Thelma Robinette married first Ray Robinette on Christmas day, 1925 at Des Moines. The marriage was witnessed by Her sister, Goldie and Vernon Robinette. At the time of the marriage, Ray was working as an optomic.

She then married Walter W. Shepherd on March 23, 1935 in Des Moines. Her witnesses were her sister Goldie Tollari and her Aunt Elsie McLees. They were both going to be (according to this record) 29 on their next birthday. Walter, a painter, living in Des Moines, was born in Galesburg, Illinois. This was not a long marriage as she married again the next year. He was married again by 1940 and a son is shown, but, I am not sure if it is his biological son.

Thelma Shepherd married Stanley Bell on Dec. 24, 1936 in Valley Junction, Iowa. Stanley stated that this was his second marriage, while it was her third. The record listed her parents, as well as his, Frank Bell and Ada Harris. He was a coal miner. This marriage also did not last long. Witnesses were Luter and Sadie Davis.

Someone sent a linking for William Lee and I have accepted that. We knew she had married someone named Lee, though I heard Edward. No one was certain. It was not a long marriage.

Izena married Cecil A. Gibson.
