Funeral of Mr. Shaffer
The funeral of August L. Shaffer took place yesterday from the residence of George Shaffer, Independence Ave, and was very hugely attended. D L Hartung and W. J Fulton. of McKee's Rocks and F J Fogarty and A C Fockler of Pittsburgh, were present and noted as pall bearers. The Pioneer Hose Company attended in a body. Interment was made in the German Lutheran cemetery.
