He was born at Jordan Run on March 18, 1913, the son of the late Noah F. And Bessie Turner Berg.
Mr. Berg was a timberman, a farmer and a member of the Jordan Run Baptist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Esther Berg DeLawder of Baltimore, MD.
He was also preceded in death by nine brothers, Gladius, Theodore, Demby, Kermit, Roscoe, Olaf, Dempsy, Noah, Jr., and Paul.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg with Rev. Paul Donaldson and Rev. Lynn Rohrbaugh officiating.
Interment was in the Armentrout Family Cemetery, Seneca Rocks.
Memorials may be made to Grant County Nursing Home or charity of choice.
