Sharron JoAnne Moesser Jones, age 76, peacefully passed away on a cloudless sunny day at her home on Monday, March 30, 2015.

Born May 13, 1938 in Murray to Joseph Leslie Moesser and Marjorie Leone Wiseman Butterfield.

Married her loving husband, Gordon Lynn Jones, on August 10, 1969; later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple on August 10, 1982.

Sharron was a devoted member of the LDS Church, where she held various positions using her gifts of love, compassion, and joy in serving others.

She loved all things about Murray City from the Lyon's Club 4th of July breakfast to the time she spent as a member of the Murray Arts Council.

She was an excellent doll maker, seamstress, and member of the Wasatch doll club and Sweet Adelines.

Never short on warmth and service, she gave endless amounts of time and energy to loved ones, those in need, and her beloved community. She inspired all those around her with her generous and endearing spirit.

She has left behind a beautiful legacy of love, charm, and wit and her sparkle will be missed.

She is survived by husband, Gordon; sisters, Diann (Dennis) Ott and Darlene (Dale) Love; her children, Scott (Christy) Russell, Ross Russell, Barbara (Paul) Kalinyak, Deena Navarrete, Deborah Denise Jones, Annita Reynolds, and Tiffinee Steed; eighteen grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley Freeman; and brother, Dennis Butterfield.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Murray Third Ward Chapel, 160 East 4600 South.
