"George W. Rex is indeed buried in the Rex Cemetery at Spillertown. In the late 1970s Guy Rex, the last surviving sibling of my great grandmother, Nannie Caroline Rex Jones, took me to the cemetery to show me the graves of my Rex relatives. He pointed out the unmarked burial place of his grandfather, whose name he did not know, but is established by census records and his pension application as a dependent father of his deceased son, John. Yhe grave is at the end of the row of Rex graves, the opposite end from the large marker for William and Elmina Rex.

Uncle Guy was born after George W. Rex died, but grew up in Spillertown very close to the cemetery and lived in Spillertown, to the best of my knowledge, all of his life."

That G.(George) W. Rex whom died on November 22, 1878, may very well be buried within this cemetery in an UNMARKED GRAVE. However, this is uncertain as his DEATH RECORD states his burial ONLY AS: SPILLERTOWN. Which a cemetery by this name has not been located at the time of this memorial creation in April 2015, by #47181167.
