Anna Beth Belcher, 85, of Amarillo died Monday, March 30, 2015.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Faith Southwest Church with Pastor Jerry Raab officiating. Burial will follow in Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon. Arrangements are by LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St.

Anna Beth was born May 28, 1929, in Canyon to Annie Laurie and Benjamin Franklin Matthews. She was a graduate of West Texas State Normal College.

She married Virgil Belcher on April 4, 1955, in Clovis, N.M.

Anna Beth taught school in Follett, Anton, Tulia, Hale Center, Springlake, Wayside and Amarillo Independent School District. She also worked at Cerebral Palsy Center in Amarillo. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa sorority.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Wayne Belcher.

Survivors include her children, Frank Belcher and wife Jeannie of Canadian, Marian Grona of Iowa Park, Rachael Wilson of Amarillo; her grandchildren, Angela Black of Canadian, Jay Belcher of Amarillo and Shelly Cantrell of Dallas; and four great-grandchildren, Lachlan and Aidan Belcher of Amarillo and Abigail and Arionna Black of Canadian.

The family will receive friends from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
