Funeral services for Elizabeth Foy, 77, of Winnsboro will be 2 pm Thursday, April 2, 2015, in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home with Rev. James McMurray officiating. Interment will follow in Chase Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 pm Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Foy was born April 12, 1937, in Winnsboro to the union of James Alonzo and Myrle Blackmon Sumrall and passed from this life on March 31, 2015, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Hubert Foy.
Survivors include her four children: Raymond Hitt and wife Donna of Tallulah, Diane Loflin and husband Bill of Winnsboro, Lynn Peavy and husband Randy of Chase, Ronald Hitt and wife Tina of Winnsboro; two stepsons: James "Bo" Foy and wife Denise of Gilbert, Hubert Ray Foy, Jr. and wife Dora of Olla; two sisters: Margie Payne of Baskin and Katherine Walters of Laurel, MS; one brother Jerry Day of Baskin; 12 grandchildren; 18 great - grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends.
