A graveside service will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Goins was born April 14, 1940 in Stokes County. He was retired from Southern Steel and Wire and was a past employee of Washington Mills.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Romney Goins and Lillian Welch and step-father, Raymond Welch; wife, Ruth Ann Adkins Goins; sisters, Clara Chaney and Virginia Paschal and step-brother, Robert Welch.
Survivors include sons, Ray Goins and wife, Wanda, Jeff Goins and wife, Renea; daughter, Shannon Goins Fuquay; grandchildren, Cole Goins (Lana), Chad Goins, Brandy Lineberry and husband, TJ, Harly Goins (Skotti), Jessica Goins, Austin Shelton (Ashley), Daniel Fuquay, Brittany Fuquay; great-granddaughter, Raegan Lineberry; great-grandson, Bentley Lemons; half-sisters Elsie Welch Berry, Nancy Craig and husband, James; and half-brother, Billy Welch.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Colonial Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
