Jesse James Davidson, 91, of Crossville, passed away March 26, 2015, at Cumberland Medical Center. Funeral service was held March 29 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Haley's Grove Cemetery.
Jesse was born Sept. 6, 1923, in Cumberland County. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Jesse enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Before retiring, he worked as a press operator for Phillips Industries.
Jesse is survived by son, Gregory James Davidson (Jane); daughter, Stephanie Davidson Lowe; grandchildren, Jody Christopher Dyle, Melissa Lowe, James Lowe, Harley Davidson and Treasure Davidson; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Ted Davidson, Tom Davidson, Joe Davidson and Gene Davidson; sisters, Mary Walker, Evelyn Lanquist, Pauline Hamby and Hazel Dixon.
He was preceded in death by father, James Joe Davidson; wife, Virginia Ruth Burnett Davidson; five brothers; and ten sisters.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
