Jacob Wainwright, Sr., a well-known resident of the West End, died at the family home, 608 Weber avenue at 6 o'clock Wednesday evening.

Deceased was a glassblower by trade and came here from Delaware to take employment in the Busch Glass Works in 1883. He was 65 years of age.

He was united in marriage in the year 1864 with Mary Vautier, who, with the following children, survive:

William Wainwright
Margaret, wife of Albert Hinzler
Elizabeth, wife of Stephen Joffray
Miss Minnie [Mary], at home
Sarah, wife of Frank Severit
John Wainwright

The funeral takes place Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family home to Walnut Hill Cemetery.
