ROY V. MCMATH

MONTICELLO — Services for Roy V. McMath, 90, Old Mill Apartments, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home. He died at 8:26 p.m. Monday in White County Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health three years.

He was born June 7, 1897, in Wayne County to Durant H. and Sarah A. Stevens McMath. He was married Dec. 19, 1956, to Iva Mathas, who died Aug. 8,1974.

He had been a resident of White County since 1979, coming from Richmond and Montezuma. He was assistant secretary of the Richmond Building & Loan Association 15 years, circulation manager of the Richmond Evening News 15 years, and a furniture salesman. He was a member of Bible Tabernacle Church, IOOF Lodge #107 and American Legion Post #81, all of Monticello.

Surviving is a brother, Bert, Columbus.

A brother and five sisters preceded in death.

The Rev. Jerry Wilson will officiate at the services. Burial, with military rites, will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home, where IOOF services will be conducted at 7 p.m.
