Russell H. Hunter of Cinnaminson passed away at home on the farm on Sunday March 29, 2015.

He was born in Moorestown at home and graduated from Palmyra High School Class of 1938. He was a lifelong vegetable farmer and avid deer hunter. He loved farming and loved to teach others how to farm. He was a past director & president of the Co-op Growers for many years, past member of New Jersey Fish & Game Council, Farmers Home Administration director, Member of Burlington County Board of Agriculture, member & past president Cross Keys Gun Club and Ohio Trophy Hunters Club & an avid Flyers fan.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Marjorie (Chestnut) Hunter, daughter Dale Hunter Blackman, daughter-in-law Barbara Hunter, granddaughter Anne Hunter, companion Winifred Schneider. He survived by his son John H. Hunter, his grandchildren, Amy (Michael) Zorn, John (Holly) Hunter, Lee Blackman, Todd (Melanie) Blackman, Beth Blackman; great-grandchildren, Cole, Jake, Hailee, Riley & Ethan. And many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by his funeral service at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street Riverton, NJ. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make remembrances in his name to Compassionate Care Hospice, 600 Highland Drive, Suite 624, Westampton, NJ 08060.
