Susie Baynham Parker

MT. HERMAN, LA - Susie lost her relatively short battle to cancer, but she did it in a courageous manner. Having already lost two younger brothers and her "Poppa" to cancer, she was determined to find something to laugh about every day. She will be missed by countless family and friends who remember her "lame" jokes, her "canjo", her love of life, family, caring for others, and all the children in her life - whether related or not. Her most cherished memory was being able to travel the contiguous 48 states in an RV with her mother, Bebe Baynham and FINALLY marrying her best friend of 37 years, Brian M. Parker of Franklinton, La. She and her family will be forever appreciative to the Mt Hermon United Pentecostal Church whose members have provided inspiration, support, and bountiful amounts of food. We also want to thank St. Joseph Hospice, especially Mike Braud, RN for service above and beyond, Susie has donated her body to Tulane Medical School, so there will be no service. Since she befriended and influenced people from all 48 contiguous states, she requested there not be a memorial service as it would be very difficult on many folks to get to one place. So we are asking that you take a moment to remember Susie in your own personal way and say a prayer for her and her family and friends.

For anyone so inclined to honor here life, in lieu of flowers, Susie wished to encourage donations to the Mt Hermon United Pentecostal Church, 37300 Sunny Hill Rd., Mt Hermon, La. 70450. They have provided not just nourishment but real time substantive support with lots of love and prayers.
