Jody Moss, 85, formerly of Neosho, died March 26, 2015 in Lockwood, Missouri, following a lengthy illness.

She was born to Lynn and Margaret (Hunter) Hamlet on December 25, 1929 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Jody lived in Northern Missouri as a child and in 1955 moved to Neosho, where she lived until 2 1/2 years ago when she moved to Lockwood.

Jody was a homemaker and member of the First Presbyterian Church in Neosho. She was also a member of the Rural Letter Carriers Association, Jaycee Wives, Flower Box City Council and Friendship Extension Club. Jody loved plants, playing the piano and crocheting afghans. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Neosho Fish Hatchery, camping, fishing and traveling, but her greatest love was being with family and playing games around the kitchen table.

Jody married the love of her life on September 18, 1949 in Hamilton, Missouri, and he survives. Also surviving are three children, one brother, eight grandchildren, and two great grandsons.
