ROBERT L. HARNE, well known merchant, this city, died at his home, 412 West Washington Street, last evening at 8 o'clock of complications after an illness of several months, aged 73 years. He was born and reared in Smithsburg, being the son of George W. and Lydia (Winders) Harne.
For the last fifty years, the deceased had been engaged in the mercantile business. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the H.P. Hartman Bible Class.
Besides his wife, Anna L., surviving are: son, William E. Harne; granddaughter, great-granddaughter; and sister, Mrs. Lucy Boyd Clearspring.
Services were held at the A.K. Coffman Funeral Home; interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
