Julia (Pavlick) McKinney, 83, of Fawn Township, passed away at home Monday, March 30, 2015, following a lengthy illness. She was born March 7, 1932, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late John and Emma (Yaloh) Pavlick. Julia has lived the past 60 years in Fawn Township where she was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum, Christian Mothers of her church and Mt. St. Peter Ezekiel 37 Prayer Group. Julia graduated from Taylor Alderdice High School and enjoyed dancing and card playing. Survivors include her children, Donna (Daniel) Vivian, of Buffalo Township, Gary (Ramona) McKinney, of Fawn Township, and Marilyn McKinney, of Buffalo Township; also surviving are her grandchildren, Chad, Justin and Andrew Vivian and Jessica and Amanda McKinney; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Gabriel, Cole and Adelyn-Rose. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry K. McKinney, in 2014; four brothers, Nicholas, George, John and Frank Pavlick; and a sister, Anne Schultz. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum, with the Rev. Aaron J. Kriss officiating. Interment in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township. The Prayer Community of Ezekiel 37 will hold services in the funeral home at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
