Benjamin Alan “Benjie” Sutton, age 38 years, four months and seven days, a resident of East Prairie, passed away Sunday June 12, 2011 at 11:45 a.m. at his residence.
Born February 6, 1973 at Sikeston to John Sutton of East Prairie and the late Linda Vinson Sutton, Benjie lived in Dorena and East Prairie his entire life where he was a member of the Dorena Baptist Church.
On March 22, 2003 he married Nikki Miller who survives of the home.
Survivors besides his father and wife include, five daughters, Libby, Saylor, Shiann, Emmy and Lyndi; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Hoyt Sutton, Craig & Jennifer Sutton and Chris & Cassie Sutton all of East Prairie; by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie until time of funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Shelby Chapel with Bro. Leroy Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery with Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie in charge of arrangements.
